The alpine Ski-World Cup final in Lenzerheide 2005

From the 10th until the 13th of March the final races of the 2004/05 World Cup winter take place. In Lenzerheide, SUI, the alpine skiing stars will be attempting to win the crystal globes. Only the most successful skiers in the current season are qualified to appear in the finals, so the spectators can expect to witness more quality than quantity in the races in Switzerland. The World Cup finals promise to be extremely exciting, then both of the large globes, as well as six of the small crystal trophies, are yet to be claimed. Only the two slalom globes have been taken already, by Benjamin Raich, AUT, and Tanja Poutiainen, FIN.

Lenzerheide with its boroughs: Churwalden, Parpan, Valbella and Lenz, lies in the kanton Graubünden, near the regional capital, Chur.
