Pärson ready for the Worlds

In the last race before the alpine World Championships Anja Pärson jumped on the podium. Finishing second at the Super-G the HEAD athlete proved her medal ambitions for the Worlds in Val d’Isère.

Leading for a while
The foggy conditions on Saturday did not allow to start the premiere on the new “Kandahar“ sloop, so the Super-G took place with a 24 hour delay. The challenging course was a tough one for the ladies. Anja Pärson wows with her excellent performance and took the lead. With 1:22.55 minutes the HEAD pilot finally finished second.

Facing the title defeat
Already on Tuesday, February 3rd Anja Pärson is again at the start. In the condition of Garmisch a top favorite, then the HEAD racer challenge for the first medal at the World Championships in Val d’Isère , this years season highlight. Two years ago the 27-year old lady won the Gold medal in the Super-G in her homeland at Are, Sweden.
