Paralympics 2010: Robert Meusburger wins GS Silver

Silver medal for a competitor from Vorarlberg (AUT) at the Paralympics in Vancouver (CAN). HEAD skier Robert Meusburger from Egg wins the silver medal in the men's giant slalom standing event, second to only the German competitor Gerd Schönfelder.

Meusburger was in fourth position after the first run and moved up to second place overall after the second run. This is his tenth medal at Paralympics and World Championships.
The Silver Medal is the fourth medal for Robert Meusburger at the Paralympics. He also won a bronze medal in Nagano in Down Hill 1998, a bronze medal in GS in Salt Lake City 2002 and a gold medal in Slalom in Torino 2006.
