Flexpoint Radical MP Named Test Winner

January 24th, 2006

HEAD received top recognition in a recent racquet play test conducted by Germany’s premier tennis trade magazine, Deutsche Tennis Zeitung. Of several different pro tour racquets sampled, the HEAD Flexpoint Radical MP received the highest marks (96/100) and was named “Test Winner" in the December/January issue.

Testers praised Flexpoint Radical MP for having great control, unbelievable comfort and power in every shot. Weighing in at 295 g (10.4 ounces) and with a head size of 630cm2 (98 sq. in.), the Flexpoint Radical MP was designed specifically for young, aggressive players with a long, fast swing that prefer a slightly heavier racquet.

Many tour players appreciate the superior power and control of this great Mid Plus headsize racquet.

The features of Flexpoint technology can be seen on the racquet: two small holes located at the three o’clock and nine o’clock positions of the frame are cradled within dimples to create a precisely engineered “flexpoint” when the ball makes contact with the strings. Extensive laboratory tests showed that these two holes work together to control the power and add sectional flexibility. As a result of the dimples and control holes, flexibility of the racquet is increased by up to 50 percent, which produces control like never before, but with no loss of power.
