In a show of unprecedented force, members of HEAD’s elite team of National Pro Staff players stepped up to completely dominate the recent IRF World Racquetball Championships held in the Domincan Republic. Leading the way was Jack Huczek from Michigan who captured his second World Championship singles title and teamed with HEAD player Rocky Carson to take home the Silver medal in Men’s Doubles. Shane Vanderson from Ohio, another top ranked HEAD pro, brought home Silver medal honors in Singles pushing Huczek to a tiebreaker in the finals. On the womens side, HEAD player Aimee Ruiz brought home the Gold in Women’s Doubles for the US.
All these players switched just days before the tournament to HEAD’s new explosive MX series of racquets. “I only had three days of practice with a new racquet before the World Championships” stated new HEAD player Jack Huczek. “but the performance and power of these new racquets is so incredible that I knew in just minutes I was going to be able to play my best at the tournament” he went on to say.
