Jansrud stays with HEAD
June 6th, 2012

HEAD are delighted to announce that Norwegian World Cup race winner Kjetil Jansrud has renewed his contract with HEAD until 2015. He will continue using the entire package of skis, bindings, boots, helmet and goggles! Jansrud made the historic breakthrough in winning the Downhill in Kvitfjell last season to add to his four second places and five third places on the FIS Alpine World Cup. Jansrud also won Silver in the 2010 Winter Olympic Giant Slalom.

After deciding to stay with HEAD, Kjetil said: “I am excited to sign for another 3 years with HEAD. This is a proof of the great cooperation I have with the company, as well as everyone working within the racing department. During the two years I have been with HEAD, I have grown to be a part of the best ski-racing family in the business, and it feels natural to extend this another 3 years. I'm happy that HEAD wants to keep on working with me through a period of two world championships and the Olympic games in Sochi. I have high hopes for the future, aiming for, but not limited to, the World Cup Overall win and with Head I have every means to succeed."

The manager of the HEAD World Cup Rebels, Rainer Salzgeber added: ”The progress Kjetil made in DH and SG has proven him to be a very important member of our team. I am sure he will also play a major role in the race for the Overall World Cup. We’re happy to keep him in the team!”
