Anna Fenninger continues with HEAD
April 29th, 2011

Austria’s Anna Fenninger succeeded in the past season to break through into the top of the world’s best ski racers. The 21-year-old reached the podium twice in the World Cup and made it into the top ten more than ten times. The highlight of the season was the gold medal in the Super Combined during the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER). These great results were convincing enough to continue this successful cooperation for at least two more years.

Fenninger will still be on the whole package of HEAD skis, boots and bindings. By working on consistency and continuity in her skiing, she would like to celebrate even more podium places in the future. The young Austrian is already among the best skiers in the speed disciplines. Thanks to her great technical skills she should definitely be able to keep up with the top group in the other disciplines as well. In all possibility, she will be a strong candidate for winning the Overall World Cup.

HEAD-Race director Rainer Salzgeber is happy with Fenninger still on the HEAD Racing Team: „We are glad to continue this successful partnership. With her skills and qualities Anna is one of the few athletes to fight for the Overall World Cup which is our common goal for the future.” The 21-year-old racer is committed to HEAD and ready for action: “I have been working with HEAD for a long time already and I fully trust in this brand. My success from last winter gives me confidence and motivation for the upcoming years.”
