HEAD Racquet Rebel Mikhail Youzhny backed up his clay title from July in Gstaad as he beat Spain's ATP No.3 David Ferrer 6-3, 7-5 to claim the Valencia trophy in a battle of over-30 veterans. Youzhny, who recommends the YouTek™ IG Extreme, won with five aces while breaking Ferrer four times.

The HEAD player now owns ten career titles. "I'm happy because it was a great week for me and a great tournament," said the winner. "Now there is a big tournament in Paris and I just want to enjoy it and play like I did this week."

There was more HEAD success in the WTA Championships in Istanbul, where Racquet Rebel Peng Shuai, who endorses the YouTek™ IG Extreme, teamed with Hsieh Su-Wei to claim the year-end doubles title over Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina 6-4, 7-5. The pair also won Wimbledon last summer and is unbeaten in career finals with an impressive 9-0 record dating to 2008.
