HEAD Racquet Rebels secured two titles with Croatian Ivo Karlovic celebrating his return from serious illness earlier in the season by lifting the trophy at the inaugural Claro Open Colombia with a 6-3, 7-6(4) victory over Alejandro Falla. In the Austrian Alps in Bad Gastein, local hero Yvonne Meusburger defeated Czech Andrea Hlavackova 7-5, 6-2 to win her first WTA title without dropping a set all week and to become the first home champion of the tournament.

Karlovic, who promotes the HEAD YouTek™ Extreme, was playing his first final in three years after recovering from viral meningitis in the spring. "After all these injuries and illness I was able to come back here. It was an unbelievable week," said the HEAD player who fired over 104 aces during the tournament and now owns five titles from eight finals. The victory will place Ivo Karlovic back into the top 100 after starting last week on 155.

Meusburger, endorsing the HEAD YouTek™ IG Radical, played her third WTA final and will now rise from the 86th ranking to the best of 60th.

Swede Johanna Larsson finished as runner up in the Collector Swedish Open. In the final Larsson, who recommends the HEAD YouTek™ IG Radical, lost 4-6, 1-6 to World No. 1 Serena Williams. "I had some good chances in the first set but didn't take them. And when you play against such a good player, you need to take every opportunity you get," said Larsson. “Overall I'm happy with the week. I'm definitely on a good streak right now, so I'm just trying to keep it up."
